Celebrating Coach Ruben: A Champion On and Off the Court

At Do Good Sports Club, we believe that sports have the power to change lives—and it takes dedicated leaders to bring that vision to life. That’s why we want to take a moment to celebrate and thank someone truly special: Coach Ruben.

Coach Ruben has been the driving force behind our Free Intro to Tennis Clinics, and to put it simply—he's been incredible. From day one, his energy, positivity, and passion for the game have set the tone for every clinic. He didn’t just teach kids how to hold a racket or serve a ball; he taught them confidence, perseverance, and the value of having fun while learning something new.

Week after week, Coach Ruben showed up—ready to lead, inspire, and connect. He created an environment where every child felt welcome, no matter their skill level or experience. Under his guidance, we watched shy kids find their spark, new friendships form, and a whole new love for tennis take root in our community.

One young participant shared, “Coach Ruben makes tennis so fun. I didn’t think I could do it, but now I want to play all the time!” Another parent added, “He has a way of encouraging every kid to do their best without making it feel like pressure. It’s been amazing to watch.”

His impact goes far beyond the court. Coach Ruben embodies what Do Good Sports Club is all about: community, access, and growth. We’re beyond grateful for the time, effort, and heart he has poured into this program.

Thank you, Coach Ruben, for your unwavering commitment to our young athletes. You’ve made a real difference—and we’re lucky to have you in the Do Good Sports Club family.
