Do Good Corica Golf Programs

Introducing the Do Good Corica Golf Programs at Corica Park Golf Course – where young athletes in 5th to 8th grade come together to celebrate the spirit of golf, and grow both on and off the course. At the heart of our programs is a commitment to nurturing the core values of integrity, perseverance, and teamwork through the timeless game of golf.

Collaboration with Corica Park's Greenway Golf Foundation has made possible access to professional coaching, organized competitions, and a strong emphasis on sportsmanship. The Do Good Corica (DGC) Middle School Golf Programs offer young golfers the unique opportunity to improve their game, while also instilling important life values. Our supportive community ensures that every participant feels valued, learns to work effectively as part of a team, and carries the principles of fairness and respect both on and off the green.

Why Middle School?

  • 70% of kids stop playing sports at age 13. (National Alliance for Youth Sports)
  • Low-income youth are six times more likely to quit sports before middle school due to costs. (Aspen Institute)
  • The average age juniors stop playing golf regularly is 11.8. (Aspen Institute)
  • Tournament experience before high school creates a path to compete at a higher level, but opportunities for competitive play before high school are limited and typically expensive.
  • Among the 20+ sports included in a recent Aspen Institute parent survey, golf ranked highest for lack of local teams as a barrier to play.

DGC Middle School Programs:

  • The Winter Middle School Golf Clinic Series is a no cost program for beginner middle school golfers. This program runs from January through February, the 2025 MS Golf Clinic Series is full at this time.
  • The Fall Middle School Golf League is a low cost program offered, which is invitation only. This league gives young golfers who have excelled in our no cost middle school winter golf clinics an opportunity to play in a smaller and focused group setting. This program runs from September through November.

Check back through out the year for upcoming programs and opportunities, swing high and stay active!
