Pickleball Is Back: Join Our Middle & High School Clinic on Oct 28

by Chris Tam

Pickleball has taken over courts across the country, and our Alameda students are right in the middle of it. On Wednesday, October 28, Do Good Sports Club is hosting another Middle & High School Pickleball Clinic at The Hub Sports Club in Alameda, and we'd love to see your student there.

The details

  • When: Wednesday, October 28, 2026, 4:00–6:00 PM
  • Where: The Hub Sports Club, 800 W. Tower Ave., Alameda
  • Who: Middle and high school students, all skill levels
  • Cost: $10 to play
  • Register: Follow this link

What to expect

The clinic is two hours of instruction and play built for students. First-timers will learn the basics: how to hold a paddle, serve, keep score, and move around the kitchen line. Students who already play will sharpen their skills and get plenty of game time with peers. Paddles and balls will be provided.

Why we do it

Pickleball is easy to pick up, social, and a great way for young people to stay active and build confidence. These clinics are part of our work to make sports and community accessible to every student, keeping the cost low so more families can say yes.
